# Publishing & Enablement

## Description

Enable released solutions so users, operators, affected teams, consuming systems, service consumers, and support teams can adopt them safely.

## Why it matters

Automation solutions only create value after rollout when affected people and consuming systems understand what changes, how access and operation work, where to get support, and when rollout should pause, expand, or roll back.

## Apply in work

Plan rollout, enablement, support, feedback, and rollback so released solutions can be adopted safely.

## Outcomes

- Safe rollout and enablement plan
- Affected people, changed responsibilities, decisions, handoffs, and working practices understood
- Activation, access, permissions, rollout approach, enablement, and support prepared
- Feedback, adoption, trust, issue handling, pause, rollback, manual operation, and expansion controls defined

## Steps

1. Affected people and changed work: Who will use, operate, support, approve, consume, or be affected by the release, and what responsibilities, decisions, handoffs, or working practices will change?
2. Activation and rollout approach: How will access, permissions, pilot use, phased rollout, restricted groups, parallel operation, and rollout expansion be managed?
3. Enablement and support: What communication, training, operating instructions, and support paths are required?
4. Feedback and control: How will adoption, trust, actual use, issues, and unexpected behavior be monitored, and what conditions trigger pause, rollback, or return to manual operation?

## Completion criteria

- The solution passes quality, security, compliance, and readiness checks. — The API passes compliance, security, and audit checks. (ID: audit-passed)
- Audit findings and remediation decisions are shared with the relevant stakeholders. (ID: audit-reports-shared)
- The capability is ready to be published or released through the selected delivery mechanism. — The API is ready to be deployed and exposed through the intended gateways and environments. (ID: api-ready-for-publishing)
- Consumer-facing documentation and onboarding materials are ready. — Consumer-facing API documentation is complete enough for publishing and onboarding. (ID: api-documentation-ready)
